Focusing and Camera Movement (Practical)

Details : 1st May 2019

Camera movement is more popular than ever in feature films and TV programmes, but it’s the blocking of your actors and keeping them in focus that really counts.

In this workshop, we will be showing attendees how to improve their focus pulling skills and what things they should and shouldn’t do? We hope to show you some specific skills to get the best shot when focus pulling.

We will be getting the dolly and track out as well as the gimbal and jib arm and looking at how you achieve these moves whilst keeping your actors in focus.

It’s a chance to get hands-on and learn some new skills.
