The need for speed – 12th June 2019

Shooting using instinct and opportunity rather than planning and structure.

This Wednesday, Doug Rollins, long-term member and accomplished Director will present a fun, educational and entertaining evening.

It will consist of an hour of short film and student assessment projects being screened. Doug will give an explanation of the parameters of these shoots and some time for Q and A’s.

Hopefully we will also show the film we produced at the club a few weeks ago in our “Make a film night” called Lost Love.

The second part of the evening will be a film challenge. You will pick a card which will determine your role. Then as a group of 5 or 6, you have one hour and 15 mins to shoot a short script which will be given to you on the night.

If there are actors in the group please come on Wednesday! Otherwise, it will be movement based not dialogue.

We are starting at 7:45pm, doors open at 7:30pm. New members welcome.

Kind regards
