This week, we are hosting a world première night with not one, two or even three films. We are talking about four premières of short films and that’s just so far. If you have a film you would like to show, let me know. It does not have to be its first outing. Preference will be given to club members, but we’ll certainly entertain non-member films if there is time.
The four films we are showing so far are:-
A Ghost Story – Directed by Frank Hammond (Club member) – Comedy
Olivia has been ghosted by Darren, a man she has recently been dating. Rather than realise that there is plenty of fish in the sea, Olivia decides to confront him for his cowardly behaviour.
A Better You – Directed by Adrian Dean (Club member) – Sci-Fi
Alice requests help to improve her life, but is now left with a shocking choice – and the clock is ticking. However, can long-term gain come without pain?
Planning the Funeral – Directed by Doug Rollins (Club Member) – Dark comedy
A wife is planning her husbands funeral but will it be the final nail in the coffin for her?
STEPS (World première) – which is a club project crew’d entirely by club members. – Comedy
Sometimes, Trevor finds today’s technology a bit overwhelming. Is he trapped in an earlier time or is he embracing his future?
These are just four of the films we will be showing on Wednesday. We’re hoping for an entertaining evening, so why not come along and make some new friends or maybe catch up with some old ones.
We are starting at 7:45pm, doors open at 7:30pm. New members welcome.
Kind regards
Paul Howard
