Writing a script for short films – 22nd May 2019

Sara Jordan, an award-winning Director and Writer, is going to be showing us how she goes about writing scripts for short films and the important elements that need to be there. Her unique approach might be a little different than just a story arc, but then short films have different requirements.

She will be holding a fun evening with practical exercises and hopefully help us to understand the writing process through simple to understand techniques.

Sara fell in love with film as a child, when the witch terrified her in The Wizard Of Oz. It was then that she discovered the power of make believe.

She started her career as an actress and then moved over to script writing and directing. She’s made several short films and what interests her most is the story and the performances. Although she does love wonderful cinematography, for her the story is key.

We are starting at 7:45pm, doors open at 7:30pm. New members welcome.
