Last weekend a small group of Sutton Film Maker Club Members got together to shoot a hilarious short Sci Fi Comedy film called “20.24”. Scripted by one of our members, the film was shot over two days at a nearby location.
All of us involved had met at the Clubs Tuesday meeting nights and through attending different workshops put together by the Club.
Everyone was able to confidently fill the various roles of Film Making required, with the valuable skills we had learned through the Clubs educational events and the knowledge given and shared throughout its activities.
Our group was able to use the clubs Camera, Lighting and Sound equipment and some brought their own gear and props to use. Lots of fun was had by all on set as the crew also tried out some new equipment, including a smoke machine and we experimented with different lighting and camera angles which added greatly to the feel of our film.

The Club brings together like minded creatives from all back grounds, of all skill sets, who share a passion for film making and wish to explore it further. They offer a supportive environment and encourage people to voice their ideas and collaborate with exciting projects together as film making is a team effort and the club is somewhere we can all meet to connect.
