This session is part planning meeting, part hands-on technical night – designed to get everyone involved and inspired for the months ahead.
We’ll be shaping the club’s autumn and winter plans, brainstorming project ideas, and hearing from members about what sessions they’d love to see. But we also know that planning nights can feel a little “admin-heavy”, so we’re combining it with something more interactive and fun…
Bring Your Own Kit Night!
Whether you’ve got a cinema camera or a smartphone gimbal, a new lighting rig or an old lens you’re not sure how to use, bring it along. Or perhaps you just want to show off your amaizing new bit of kit you have. I’m sure some off us will fawn and drool over it.
This is your chance to:
- Get hands-on advice from fellow members
- Test and troubleshoot your setup with help from others
- Share tips on gear you know and love
- Try out different cameras, lenses or lights in a relaxed environment
We’ll have areas for members to set up and demonstrate, and you’re welcome to walk around, learn, chat and collaborate.
This night is perfect for:
- Anyone looking to get more confident with their gear
- New members wanting to connect
- Experienced filmmakers who want to share their know-how
- Those who just want to see what toys other people are using!
Come for the planning, stay for the tinkering. No pressure, just ideas, discussion and film gear chat.
