Anthology Project Scripts Pitching to Direct or Produce – Structure & Guidelines

We’re excited to move forward with assigning directors for the anthology films! If you’d like to direct a script, you’ll need to prepare a pitch using the structure below.

To keep things fair, organised, and efficient, all pitches must follow the same format. You can choose to pitch live at our next club night or submit a pre-recorded video pitch if you can’t attend in person.

Anthology Project Scripts – Pitch Structure & Guidelines

1. Introduction

Your name and background (briefly mention your directing experience, if any).
Why do you want to direct this script? What draws you to the story?

2. Directorial Vision

  • Tone & Style:
    • What genre is this, and how will it feel visually?
    • Any inspirations from films or directors?
    • Unique stylistic choices (e.g., handheld, colour palette, aspect ratio).
  • Pacing & Mood:
    • How do you want the audience to feel?
    • Should it be fast-paced and energetic? Slow and suspenseful?
